Pool Controls - Head Office

Thank you to the Team @ pool controls I emailed them with multiple enquiries about my chlorinator system. It would have been hard to explain via email. They called me asking how they could help. My issues were listened to, I got great advise and they were able to explain their products to me so i know how they work and what i need to do for future maintenance.

I'm not sure why some of the comments below exist. I have found the Pool Controls team to be attentive, polite and knowledgeable. I had an issue with my recently installed XLM system. I logged a service call request on their website Sunday evening, received a call first thing Monday morning. First available technician came out Tuesday morning and XLM was replaced then and there no questions asked. Alastair is a legend with a wealth of knowledge and really helped me out. A+ experience with the whole Pool Controls team.

Dealt with them last year and had no issues, prompt service etc. This time around not so good, first contacted them over their website about 4 weeks ago and they advised that they would send my request to their tech. Nothing happened so rang them a week later said the same thing but nothing happened. Got to the point where they put me through to the tech left a message he never got back to me. Rang them back to complain about the tech but the manager was out and they would call me back but this never happened. 4 weeks no tech to look at salt cell so pool has gone green, it needn't not have happened if their service was better.

Really excellent products. We had a Salt Water Chlorinator with Ozone & Acid Feeder installed. The pool builders made a mess of it and hooked it all up wrong, but Pool Controls came out, fixed it up and got it all running nicely. The system itself is really easy to use and leaves you with crystal clear water, it's like swimming in a glass of water. No taste of chlorine, no stinging eyes, just perfectly clear, inviting water. I would (and have) recommend the system for sure & the customer support was excellent.

Awesome service!!I rang and spoke with Kelly???... super friendly, funny and helpful.... I needed a part for my chlorinator....and had a few questions about the part... she had all the answers and great advice on how to replace the part.She's in Perth, I'm in Brisbane... first she tried to find a local supplier rep for me to contact to save me money. I decided to go direct, as at least I knew it was the right part and in stock and pay the freight.. NEXT DAY delivery from Perth!!.. amazing!!...Thanks again!!

I have had two ChemiGem systems over the years and found that when they are working properly they are great. So many times I have paid out hundreds of dollars for spare parts and when I employed the services of a pool guy it was really expensive. Recently I took the whole system in to get it checked. I explained that it was working well except for the delivery of chlorine which was emptying a entire drum within an hour. So many times I had this problem. The lady behind the counter told me many of the parts had been updated because of various problems and if I would like to leave it they would give me a quote for repair for the princely sum of $90.00,that's right $90.00 to tell me what was wrong and how much to repair it.The lady said she would give me a call in a few days.20 days later I gave up waiting and went to the Balcatta office to find out why I hadn't been contacted and what the verdict was.The same lady found my unit in a box came to the counter and said 'I've got bad news for you. We can't repair it it has had it.The attitude was cavalier at best and I left with the unit. I would have thought that after two units and many years I might have warranted a bit of a explanation as to why a machine of this high value was in fact unable to be repaired.It must be almost 23 years of loyalty and they don't seem to care less.Such is life and I am now going to another company who may just really care about having my business. No way am I going to have a liquid chlorine fed system by ChemiGem

I have read the reviews citing poor customer service and rude staff, but I have to say my experience e was completely the opposite. I was up from Mandurah for the day and dropped off my chemigem for diagnosis and repair.The desk staff and the tech quickly had my problem diagnosed and sent me a quote by sms. The repairs were completed that day and I was able to take my unit with me that afternoon, saving me a second trip up.At all times, the guys were friendly and pleasant. My unit is back installed and working and the pool chemistry is back on spec.Thanks guys.

Had a Pool Controls SWC35 installed a couple of years ago and has run hassle-free until recently. I had an issue with getting the cell out of the housing, so called Pool Controls head office for warranty repair. There was a little frustration initially, before the service tech came out and the problem was understood, so I was getting myself ready for the it's your fault" argument... which never came.The service tech Paul had to come out twice

My chlorinator had some unusual numbers being displayed and my chlorine dropped to almost zero. I phoned the office and the lady who answered was helpful and advised me to manually add some chlorine in the meantime to prevent any issues and that someone would come have a look in the next couple of days. Paul arrived within 2 days and not only sorted the problem out but also helped me adjust my settings and did some water tests to make sure everything was as it should be. Very helpful and friendly guy. Sadly it is rare to get such great service nowadays so hats off to Pool Controls and their staff!
